Established in 1923, the city's first industrial establishment, a flour, pepper, cotton gin, and paddy factory, which once contributed to the city's electricity, and more recently served as a business house, this deep-rooted establishment, Maraş Ticaret İşletmeleri T.A.Ş., was decided to be demolished within the scope of the city's reconstruction due to the February 6 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes. Company Employees and valuable tenant tradesmen of Maraş Ticaret came together at the farewell dinner organized by Maraş Ticaret T.A.Ş. Board Chairman Mahmut ARIKAN. Emotional moments were experienced after the dinner that night. A Thank You Plaque was presented to Mahmut ARIKAN, Chairman of the Board of Maraş Ticaret T.A.Ş and Arıkan Mensucat for his great support to the tradesmen after the earthquake.
