We were pleased to host the academic delegation from the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Design of Kahramanmaraş İstiklal University at our company.
During the visit, our Chairman of the Board, Mahmut Arıkan, and company executives met with the academics to evaluate concrete steps that could be taken to strengthen university-industry collaboration. The discussions—joined by Dr. Begüm Erol, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, along with Dr. Aycan Kama, Dr. Emrah Korhan, and Dr. Mehri Banu Erdem—covered a wide range of important topics including current industry dynamics, sustainable production, innovation, and the development of a qualified workforce. There was a shared understanding that enhancing university-industry collaboration is not only essential for sectoral growth but also critical for helping young engineering students gain hands-on experience.
In this regard, initial steps were taken to develop feasible project, internship, and training models between our company and İstiklal University. We believe that this meaningful visit will contribute both to the university’s vision for applied education and to regional development. We will continue to support the synergy between academia and industry.
